Temporary workaround:
npm i -g jsrepo@2
and then run jsrepo directly:
jsrepo add URL

You may already have a higher version installed. What is the output when running this command? For proper operation, jsrepo 2.5.2 should be listed.
npm list -g --depth=0

If you are seeing a higher version, try uninstalling it and reinstalling the v2 package.
