Getting Started

Annotorious is a JavaScript image annotation library. Link the Annotorious source files (CSS and JavaScript) into an existing HTML page, and Annotorious automatically enhances images inside this page with an interactive drawing and commenting tool. Annotorious is available in two versions: as a standard 'standalone' version, and as a plugin for the Annotator Web annotation system by the Open Knowledge Foundation. Annotorious is still in alpha stage. We highly appreciate your feedback and active help in developing it further! Instructions on how to set up Annotorious are available here:
