kubernetes_mcp_lb_helm_install repo not found

Hi folks, im testing the mcp server (kubernetes-mcp-server:0.0.53) with continue and VScode, and whenever i try to install a helm chart (nginx, grafana, etc) using MCP will result in the following:

kubernetes_mcp_lb_helm_install failed with the message: [{"type":"text","text":"failed to install helm chart 'stable/grafana': repo stable not found"}]

Please try something else or request further instructions.

is there any specific way to add helm repositories to the MCP server?

The issue is that helm doesn't have that repository registered.

At the moment, the MCP server does not provide the functionality to add or remove repositories, we'd need to look into that.
