[firebase_messaging] onMessage is missing notification.image

Issue

notification.image is missing from _onMessage

I know my server is working correctly because when my app is running in the background, and I send a notification over to my Android, the image appears. but when I try to handle the notification in foreground mode, I want to catch it with _onMessage and show the image in a flushbar. But I cannot because notification.image is missing.

The expected behaviour is notification.image should be present.

Hello, Is there any chance we can get this ? I really need it to display a local notification when the app receives notification in the foreground.
It's really simple to add this feature, and i think it's much needed, Thanks.

Furthermore, why don't you pass the whole notification object directly ? in file:
