Why was the generate_data app removed?

Hello,

I'm following https://blog.heroku.com/event-streams-kafka-redshift-metabase#real-time-stream-visualization

However in commit b1c768a the `generate_data` app was removed from the Procfile so it's not running on Heroku when I follow those instructions.

Just wondering why...
