CLI Recommendations

Hi, given we have so many CLI tools available, such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Droid, OpenCode, etc., I'm wondering which one do you find working best?

I like simplicity, so I chose Codex.

@etwk , I use and recommend factory.ai DROID CLI (and I have Cursor GUI on the side should I want to look at/edit some markdown)

• works very well with different models
• you are not tied to any model, any custom model can be easily added beside the built-in ones (GPT-5/Codex, Sonnet 4.5, GLM-4.6)
• some people on X/twitter even claim that Sonnet 4.5 works better with DROID than with Claude Code (I just set it up that way with CLIProxyAPI and it worked great)
